FCS students qualify for National Geographic Geo Challenge Finals
A team of students from Flushing Christian School participated in the 2018-2019 National Geographic GeoChallenge and have qualified for the national finals. The submission of the Navigators from Flushing Christian School, composed of Victor Jimenez, Alex Jun, Jeremiah Pierre and Natanel Rozic, qualified for the regional level of the GeoChallenge and came in first place at their regional site in Chicopee, Mass., on March 29. They now advance to the national competition that will be held in Washington, D.C., in May.
