Our First Prototype Deployment
On Saturday 8/8/2020, we were finally able to deploy our Green Manta, a filtration device meant for collecting and cleaning Microplastics in the Hudson River. Our group spent several hours at the Tarrytown Marina in Upstate New York cleaning up the river. It was hard work but everything worked as planned. We will now be sending the collected water samples to a Microplastic Lab for a complete analysis.
