On July 11 our Navigator team met with some crew members of the Rozalia project.  The Rozalia project was founded by Rachel Miller to make a clean, healthy and thriving ocean.  Rachel Miller also was assigned to be our mentor by National Geographic.  Our Navigator team met with the Rozalia crew in the Brooklyn, New York Marina on their boat, called the American Promise.  There they showed us how to collect Microplastic samples from the surface of the water, the middle of the water, and the from depths of the sea.  We had a great time together and learned a lot from the Rozalia crew.
